Moich Abrahams trained at the Byam Shaw School of Art, where he took first class honours, and later an MA at Goldsmiths College.
Inspired by his interest in metaphysics and the unconscious he creates work which is mysterious, expressive and playful.
His work has been selected for many group shows e.g. the Institute of Contemporary Art, The Whitechapel Gallery, Camden Arts Centre, Royal College of Art, and The Best of British Drawing Show, at the Hayward Gallery.
Also Moich has shown many times with The London Group (elected as a member in 1977)
Recent shows include: The Mall Galleries (The Discerning Eye), The Bankside Gallery, Mauger Modern Art (Bath), Menier Old Chocolate Factory and Deutche Bank.
Statement:
Exploring reality in a playful way, experiences are recorded with painting, mixed media, print making, particularly monoprinting and spontaneous drawings.
